Corrections and Changes Between Versions 3.14 and 3.20:

1)  Updated and modified READ.ME file for release of version 3.20.

2)  Upgraded and modified INSTALIT/MediaBuilder code and logic for release of
    version 3.20 to include additional system hardware/software checks and
    installation options.

3)  Compiled and linked QUAL2E/QUAL2EU models, AQUAL2 pre-processor program,
    and Q2PLOT program using Lahey FORTRAN 32-bit, protected mode compiler,
    Phar-lap linker, and Interacter graphics libraries.

4)  Eliminated the need for GKS/GSS external graphics and device driver
    support in order to display and/or print graphs produced by Q2PLOT
    program.

5)  Implemented numerous FORTRAN source code changes to correct minor
    problems that occured during program and/or model execution.

2)   Composed new INSTALIT/MediaBuilder code and logic.  Upgraded INSTALIT/
     MediaBuilder product version description and INF script files from
     version 3.19c to version 5.03d.  Implemented numerous code changes to
     correct minor problems and add features/enhancements.

3)   Updated, recompiled, and rebuilt all AIDE library (binary) files
     (WDMDSN, WDIMEX, STATS, WDMRX, UTIL, ADWDM, WAIDE, ANN, WDM, GRAPH,
     AIDE, NEWAQT) from version 2.0x to version 3.0x using Lahey FORTRAN
     32-bit, protected mode compiler, Phar-lap linker.

4)   Implemented numerous FORTRAN source code changes to correct minor errors
     and/or problems that occured during program and/or model execution and
     added new features/enhancements:

     a)  Added use of wildcard characters (*,?) within DOS file names for
         file name prompts and/or screens in the AQUAL2 and Q2PLOT programs.
     b)  Corrected AQUAL2 to allow values to be edited or added, and saved
         (i.e., written to a file) that are greater than or equal too 1.0E+06
         using scientific notation instead of standard format (e.g., 1000000)
         for the following data fields:
                        1) DATA TYPE 8 INCREMENTAL FLOW 1, COLIFORM
                           (NO./100ML)
                        2) DATA TYPE 10A HEADWATER-2 COLI (NO./100ML)
                        3) DATA TYPE 11A POINT LOAD AND WITHDRAWAL-2
                           COLI (NO./100ML)
                        4) DATA TYPE 13 DOWNSTREAM BOUNDARY-1 COLIFORM
                           (NO./100ML)
     c)  Corrected AQUAL2 to allow storage and/or modification of DOWNSTREAM
         BOUNDARY-1 (DATA TYPE 13) for a temperature value other than 70.0
         (F).

5)   Recompiled and relinked QUAL2E and QUAL2EU models, and AQUAL2 and Q2PLOT
     programs using Lahey FORTRAN 32-bit, protected mode compiler, Phar-lap
     linker, and AIDE libraries listed above.

6)   Included new executable task image files (*.EXE) and all updated run
     time support programs and files, including unformatted, direct access
     water shed data management file (*.WDM).

Corrections and Changes Between Versions 3.22 Beta and 3.22:

- Date: Monday, 13 May 1996.  Time: 14:20:22.

Summary:  

1)   Implemented numerous FORTRAN source code changes to correct minor errors
     and/or problems that occured during program execution.

     Modified code to correct run-time error in the QUAL2EU model caused when
     a negative value was entered for % (percent) PERTURBATION.  User can now
     enter either a negative or positive value for percent perturbation.
     This value is stored within the DATA TYPE 3 group of the QUAL2E-UNCAS
     first order error analysis data set file (e.g., WTHUAF1.DAT).  Example
     file is listed below with two example DATA TYPE 3 lines (one each
     positive and negative):

4)   Updated INSTALIT/MediaBuilder code and logic for product version
     description (.PVD) and installation (.INF) script files.

5)   Recompiled and relinked executable task image program files for the
     QUAL2E and QUAL2EU models, version 3.22, and the AQUAL2 and Q2PLOT
     programs, version 1.23, using Lahey FORTRAN 32-bit, protected mode
     compiler and Phar-lap linker.

6)   Included new executable task image files (*.EXE) and updated run
     time support programs and files (.WDM, *.DAT, .SUP, *.LOG).

7)   Included new test output data files DIURNL.OUT, WRKSHOP1.OUT,
     WRKSHOP3.OUT, WRKSHOP2.OUT, WRKSHP2X.OUT, WTHUAF1.OUT, and WTHUAM.OUT to
     test the installation of the QUAL2E and QUAL2EU programs.

8)   Updated the welcome screen file QUALOPEN.SCR.

9)   Updated DOS batch command files (*.BAT) for the execution of the AQUAL2
     and Q2PLOT programs, and the QUAL2E and QUAL2EU models.

10)  Updated Lahey FORTRAN MAKE utility files MAKEFILE[.*] for the AQUAL2 and
     Q2PLOT programs, and the QUAL2E and QUAL2EU model FORTRAN code groups.
