Course Description and Goal
   

Description

Sources, characteristics and treatment techniques for water utilized by and wastewater generated from various industrial categories.

Goal
To help students develop the ability to apply basic understandings of physical, chemical, and biological phenomena to the successful design and operation of industrial water and wastewater treatment plants.

Attendance Policy

  1. Class attendance is expected. You are responsible for all material handed out in class and all information given in class. Being absent is not an excuse.
  2. Civility and respect for and in regard to others in this class is the acceptable order.
  3. Make-up exams are not given.
  4. If homework is to be taken up for grading it is due at the beginning of class. Late homework is not accepted.
